It may occur at any age but the cavernous form shows a predilection in children and adolescents. Mediastinal hemangioma was diagnosed in a 15-year-old boy from Afghanistan. Cough and neck swelling were his chief complaints. Chest x- ray and CT-scan showed mediastinal widening and anterior mediastinal mass. After cervical biopsy, anterior cervicomediastinal surgery was performed. Pathological examination of the lesion revealed a mediastinal hemangioma.
